Hello All!
Here’s this weeks addition of what did Pat get into.
This was a good very productive week.
As always customer work first.
So the 1946 Willys Jeep is finally done! This week I completed the wiring issues it had. I ended up running new wiring for the brake/tail lights, partial new wires for the head lights, and all new wires for the turn signals. I’m glad this job is finally done.
The other job I started on was disassembling and inspecting the Model T rear axle we took out last week. I’m not fully done with disassembly yet but so far it looks decent. Few things to fix but nothing major. Better than expected. More to come on this soon.
My stuff!
With the help of my two helpers (Jenn and Pog) we made excellent progress. I completed the engine assembly earlier and then we got the engine and transmission installed into the car. Even managed to get it up and running! As always I got a few minor adjustments to make but otherwise mechanically she’s done! I got a few projects to catch up on first, but very soon it’s back onto body work! My goal is to have her ready for sometime in the summer.
Lastly on yeaterday Jenn and I went on the first official Model A tour with the Northwest Model A club. Unfortunately the tour didn’t have a good turn out. We were one of two cars that showed up. Don Brono in his 1931 Tudor and Jenns 1928 Open cab pickup. Despite the cold overcast windy day, it was a fun time. We met at Dons house, then heading over to Wrights barn which is an antique shop, then we drove over to Norfolk for a lunch stop at the local country store. Lastly stopped at Denis park for some pictures.
Spring dust off!!!!!
So currently I have 3 cars signed up for my spring dust off. I’m closing down my list by the end of this week!!!!
So if you want service done say so now.
REMEMBER!!
EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO ATTEND
Also if possible please send me or Sam if you going to attend. I’d love to have a rough head count who’s going to be stopping by.
We might get coffee, snacks, or lunch depending on the number of attendees.
FYI while reading my emails I’d know of anyone who would enjoy these too, feel free to send them their way. Or pass me their email and I’ll gladly add them to the list.
Also if you’re interested on catching up on my weekly emails….visit my website.
On there you’ll see a tab that says weekly project updates. All the write ups I’ve done since starting this are on there.
