Hello All

Here’s this weeks addition of what did Pat get into.

This week was another busy one. Got a good amount of work done.

First up I continued on the 1951 Ford Pickup Truck that is being sold. New owner asked me to get it up and running better and more road worthy. So this week I finished rebuilding the carburetor, installed a new fuel pump, made all new battery cables and a new starter cable. Also a new choke cable. I drained and flushed the radiator too. She is up and running and almost done. Only items left to tackle are a new set of points and new spark plugs. Should be later this week and ready for the new owner!

Another customer task I got accomplished this week was pulling a gas tank for cleaning and sealing. Thanks for the help Jenn!

More to come on this job once I get the sealer kit in hand.

The other big news/project this week was Jenn’s new toy.

First thing we did was finalize the deal with the former owner and we picked up the car and had it delivered to Jenns.

Of course we had to tinker and get it running.

It was late when we got it home but still managed to make some noise. I had to by pass the key switch, and had a leaky/blocked gas line. So only was able to run it for a few minutes.

Of course we were back at it the next day with new fuel line parts, and i fixed the issue with the key switch. After some more tinkering we went for the first ride. Happy to say she runs good. Needs a bunch more tinkering which we will get to in the comming days. Plan is to get to running decent enough that Jenn can learn the ins and outs of the car. Then this winter we have a big list of rebuilding/repairs. More to come on this guy later.
