Hello Everyone.
Here is this weeks what did Pat get into. This was a busy week.
First job I finished was the repair work on the Model T coil box I looked over last week. Luckily the parts supplier had the broken switch part in stock. One day this week I should be able to swing down and install it.
I also managed to finish off rebuilding the Model a front axle(the one that had the broken spring)
Planning on getting this guy installed this week too.
I made a stop at a fellow club members house to install a new gas gauge for him. Will swing back to this job later as there’s some wiring to replace. More to come later.
Lastly I took a ride up to Clinton to look over a new Model A job. This car is a big ol 4 door sedan. It’s in good shape but needs quite a bit of work.
The work is Gona be done in 2 parts. First is to get it up and running. Which will involve new wiring, manifold gaskets, carb, and distributor work.
Once it’s running and drivable we will see what else it needs mechanically.
The 2nd phase will be upholstery work. The plan is to recover all 4 seats, door panels, and a headliner. The headliner I’ll make out of a black headliner fabric, the rest will be done in black vinyl.
My stuff..
As many of you know Sunday was Father’s Day and Jenn and I decided to take the 1923 Overland Model 91 to the Father’s Day car show. So in order to get the Overland out it involved having a mini car show.
Once we got her out gave the car a good scrubbing and some TLC, and she was good to go.
Had a very nice time at the Shelton Historical Society Father’s Day car show. Was great to see everyone, thanks for putting on a fantastic show.
FYI while reading my emails I’d know of anyone who would enjoy these too, feel free to send them their way. Or pass me their email and I’ll gladly add them to the list.
Also if you’re interested on catching up on my weekly emails….visit my website.
On there you’ll see a tab that says weekly project updates. All the write ups I’ve done since starting this are on there.
