7/7/25

Hello everyone.

Here’s this weeks addition of what did Pat get into.

This week was a busy week. However not a busy week workwise.

This weeks customer stop was my customer in Norfolk. So his Model A needed a new generator and some carburetor work. Both the generator and carburetor I spent earlier in the week repairing and testing them. Happy to say they are now installed and his Model A and I got a happy customer. Few more things to take care of on his car so more to come soon. Also I fixed his Ford 8N tractor. Previously I pulled the starter as the bendix spring broke. I got a new starter and installed that as well.

I did spend some time in my shop/garage too. My brother in law asked if I can get the 1970 Camero down off the lift for him to work on and drive around this summer/fall. So we spent the day Saturday getting the Camero down and off the lift. Which of course involved having another mini car show. A mini 3 car show.

After playing musical cars, we starting in on the Camero. Well she’s not ready for the road yet. She’s been sitting quite a few years. We needed to change the rubber fuel lines as the rotted. I am happy to say we got her started too. She’s Gona need a new fuel pump, and the carburetor rebuilt. Both are on order.

I spent time on my Model A Pickup too. I used her earlier in the week as a tester. Usually what I do is when I have a carburetor, starter, gen or similar to test I’ll throw it on my car. Basically I put her carburetor and generator back on and serviced the cooling system. I did mange to also get one of my roadster doors installed and adjusted.

Tons more to come. Till next time.
