Hello All
Here’s this weeks what did Pat get into.
This week ended up being good. Doesn’t seem like it, but made good progress on a lot of jobs.
First up I started setting up the Model A block we got poured last week for Align bore. I got the caps and block filed flat and I’m ready to clean and install the Align bore frame. More on this soon. Going to try and get this job done soon.
Earlier in the week Jenn came with me and we played in the upholstery shop I got as it was way too hot out to play in the garage. We started on some door/kick panels. We got them cut out to shape, and then glued new vinyl to the boards. After that I taught Jenn how to sew. To add a little bit of style we sewed along the edges of the panel. They came out great. Some of these are for my Roadster project as long as some for my Clinton Model A 4 door upholstery job I have.
Lastly for customer work I took a ride up to Norfolk. This job consisted of replacing the gas gauge, ignition switch, and the drivers door latch/handle. All went very smooth and quicker than I anticipated.
Lastly I continued on the 1970 Camero project. I got the carburetor and fuel pump reinstalled. Now the fuel side of things is done and working properly. However as these things normally go, now I got electrical issues. So new battery cables, and a few other wires will need replacing. Hopfully that should take care of the issues.
FYI. Sorry for the lack of pictures this week. I do better next week!
